2019 FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING ONLINE SIGN-UPS

-Online Registrations:  Register online at www.labcindians.org, Click on the link that says REGISTER and you MUST create an account.  **If your child has signed up for a previous sport online then an account has been already created for you.**  


-Forms:  Patron’s Lists and Physical Forms can be found under the FORMS link. Patron’s List will be due August 2nd and Physicals will be due by our first game, NO EXCEPTIONS.  *These forms will be handed out the first night of practice*


-Registration Fees:  $80-1st Child, $40-2nd Child, $30-3rd Child & more


-Late Fee:  Additional $25 Fee for all sign-ups after July 28th


Ages:  Accepting children ages 5 (as of  10/22/19) to 13 (on or after 8/1/19 and not in 7th grade) who reside within or attend school within Lehighton Area School District


Birth Certificates:  All players MUST bring a copy of their birth certificate the first night of practice.  If your child played in the prior 2018 season the Booster Club already has a copy of your birth certificate and you don’t need to submit another. Parents will be fined $10. if they are not turned in by requested date.


Football Players:  Sign-up by June 15th to receive your child’s practice jersey by the first night of practice.  All later registrants will receive their practice jersey in late August- early September.  Any child can participate, regardless of weight.  


Cheerleaders:  Sign-up by June 15th to receive your child’s registration gift by the first night of practice. All later registrants will receive their Jacket in late August - early September.  Cheerleaders will be asked to purchase accessories as part of their uniform (Crop tops, Bloomers, and Bows).


-Fundraisers:  Patron Lists (mandatory), Lottery Calendar and Meat Raffle tickets (buyout option available)


-Refreshment Stand:  Parents will be REQUIRED to help in the refreshment stand throughout the season. Team Mom will have more details at the beginning of the season.

Free football and cheering physicals and impact tests

All football players 10 yrs of age as of July 31, 2019 must have an impact test to play!

Parents should be encouraged to complete the sports physical packet prior to their child’s scheduled physical date.  Also, ImPACT testing takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is normally completed after the sports physical.  Here are some general guidelines for baseline ImPACT testing to share with your families:

 

·         We cannot perform a valid Baseline ImPACT test on any child under the age of 10.

·         If a child had an ImPACT test last year and did not suffer a concussion, they do not need to take another baseline test.

·         If a child did suffer a concussion since last year’s baseline test, they should be retested.

2019 LABC Football and Cheerleading Fundraising

Below is a list of important dates for all football players and cheerleaders for the 2019 season. Your team moms and coaches will also be sending reminders out about these dates. It is imperative that everyone understands our fundraisers this season. LABC is a nonprofit organization that runs solely on registration fees, fundraisers, and donations from our community. We appreciate your dedication to our programs. Without the parents we would not be able to help our youth of the community enjoy and love the sport of football and cheerleading. Thank you in advance for another great season! Roll Tribe!!!

April 1, 2019 Registration and Patron sale begins. Each player and cheerleader must sell a minimum of $20.00 in patron sales. There is no buyout option for this fundraiser. The top seller in both football and cheerleading will receive a Wal Mart gift card.


June 1, 2019
                       LIVE SIGN UPS during LABC track meet at Lehighton High School Football Field

June 15, 2019                     LIVE SIGN UPS at Baer Memorial Football Field 11-1pm. Players with paid registration will be able to pick his or her
football jersey # for the season starting at 1pm.

June 15, 2019                     Early Registration Ends. Players and Cheerleaders registered by this date will receive their registration gift at the
first night of practice. Those signed up after June 15th will receive their registration gift after practice starts.

June 22, 2019                     1st Spiritwear Order will be turned in.


July 11, 2019                      FREE PHYSICALS & IMPACT TESTING
Coordinated Health, 239 North First Street, Lehighton, PA 18235 is offering free physicals and impact testing for all LABC football players and cheerleaders. No appointments necessary. Arrive between 5-8pm. Please print 2019 Youth Physical Evaluation Form off our website under FORMS.

July 29, 2019                      Practice Season Begins! Team moms and Head Cheerleader Coaches will need all required paperwork and birth
certificates. The first night of practice Coordinated Health will perform a combine for all football players.

                                                Late Fee of $25 applies to all registered after July 28, 2019.

August 2, 2019                   Patron sales ends. All patrons and money must be turned in on or before this date. Minimum of $20 per player and cheerleader is required. There is no buyout for the patron list.

August 3, 2019                   Meet the Tribe! Before the First Responders and Coaches Flag Football game we will be introducing our lil Indians! 
all players and cheerleaders are asked to attend. Arrive by 4:45pm.

First Responders and Coaches Flag Football game begins at 6pm. We will have a basket raffle and 50/50. The concession stand will be open. Stay for the game and cheer on your LABC coaches to victory

August 4, 2019                   Registration Ends! Registration for 2019 Football and Cheering ends.

August 5, 2019                   Lottery ticket sale begins. Each player and cheerleader is required to sell lottery calendar tickets (excluding those who took buyout option). This is a monetary lottery for the month of September. There are great prize amounts each day of the month with specials on the weekends and Labor Day! Each player and cheerleader will be asked to sell the minimum of 10 lottery ticket envelopes. Prizes will be mailed to the winners at the end of the September.

August 13, 2019                Picture Day! Your team moms and coaches will hand out order forms 2 weeks prior to picture day. Here's the schedule: A's players and cheerleaders 5:30, B's players and cheerleaders 5:45, C's players and cheerleaders 6:00. Siblings are able to take pictures together.

August 29, 2019                Lottery ticket sale ends. All required lottery calendar tickets sold and money must be turned in on or before this date. The lottery will start September 1, 2019. Winners will receive winnings at the end of the month when the lottery is over.

September 23, 2019        Meat Raffle ticket sale begins. Each player and cheerleader is required to sell meat raffle tickets (excluding those who took buyout option). The drawing will be Sunday October 20, 2019. Each player and cheerleader is required to sell 8 meat raffle tickets. We encourage you to sell as many as possible. The highest seller amongst all players and cheerleaders combined will win a brand new bike! Tickets will sell for $5.00 each.

 

October 12 or 13              Senior Day! We will honor our senior football players and cheerleaders prior to the start of A's game.

 

October 17, 2019              Meat Raffle ticket sale ends. All required tickets sold and money must be turned in on or before this date. Anyone selling extra tickets must also turn in October 17, 2019. Turn all your ticket stubs and money into your team mom or cheerleading coach.

October 19, 2019              Lehighton Halloween Parade More information to follow later in the season.

October 20, 2019              Meat raffle drawing will be throughout the day, called during the games. We will also have a basket raffle and bake sale. All proceeds from the basket raffle will go directly to the End of Season banquet. We are taking donations for the basket raffle. Please see your team mom or cheerleading coach for donation paperwork.

October 20, 2019              End of Season banquet reservations are due. Your team moms and cheerleading coaches will have more details later in the season.

Any player who has not fulfilled his or her fundraising requirements may not attend the End of Season banquet. His or her parents/guardians will be charged the value of the tickets required to sell for both fundraisers. If anyone would like to pay the $150.00 buyout per player or cheerleader  please talk to your team mom or cheerleading coach.
