Lehighton Youth Wrestling is looking for a group of up and coming wrestlers. Wrestling offers many rewards for those who love challenges! Is your child lacking discipline or confidence? Physical conditioning, and mental discipline are two assets if the sport, that build confidence! This new found confidence will be shown in every aspect of their lives. Many parents have stated in the span of one season they have seen their children's grades improve, confidence soar, and their demeanor change for the better.

      As a program we are proud of our "4X King of the Ridge" Champions, multiple place finishers in their respective weight divisions at the VEWL tournaments, representation and placement in major wrestling tournaments such as the ”Nittany Lion Open” at Penn State and “Ohio Tournament of Champions” in Columbus, OH  just to name a few. We are most proud of what kind of individuals leave our program!

      In closing, if you are high energy, aggressive, competitive, love the adrenaline rush, and think you have what it takes, then Wrestling is for you! Wrestling Season is just around the corner! After having such a successful 2018/2019 season, and finishing second in the Southwest division,we are very excited and can't wait for this upcoming 2019/2020 season .

Wrestling registration will open September 16th online and if you wish to sign up in person we will be in the wrestling room (located on the 3rd level)at the Pyramid Performance Center at 230 Ochre St. in Lehighton from 6:30-8:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

September 16th will also be the start of the Preseason workouts &  Team 209 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Pyramid Performance Center wrestling room (located on the 3rd level) at 230 Ochre St. in Lehighton on Mondays and Wednesdays. Preseason workouts will go will go till October 31st.




Finally, We have such a great talent level with last seasons group!  We will continue to build with this seasons group. Many have stayed the course and did a lot of off season work individually. You can only get out of this sport by what you put into it! Let's not let any of it waste away! All wrestlers need to put forth 100% every time they set foot on any mat, whether its at a event or at practice. Together we can accomplish anything we put our minds too!
