Basketball Registration is Open! 🏀

Registration for 2025-2026 season will run September 20th to October 27th.

💲 Cost: $80 per player

Practices begin: Early to mid-November

•  Preseason workout dates to be announced 
•  Games begin: Early December
•  Season ends: Mid-Late February

Divisions

• Kindergarten–2nd Grade (Co-Ed Instructional, 8-foot rims)

• 3rd–4th Grade Boys

• 3rd–4th Grade Girls

• 5th–6th Grade Boys

• 5th–6th Grade Girls

Practices & Games

• 3rd–6th Grades: -Start with three practices per week- Once games begin → two practices + one game each week
• Practices are held weeknights between 6:00–9:00 PM
• K–2 games are always on Saturdays
• 3rd–6th grade games may be weeknights or weekends depending on gym and league scheduling

•  K–2- Start with two practices per week- After New Year → one practice + one Saturday game each week

Locations

• All practices and home games take place at Lehighton school gyms and the Recreation Center.
  
• Grades 3–6 may have travel games against Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Panther Valley, Narrow Valley, and St. Jerome’s as part of the Carbon Youth Basketball League (CYBL).

Uniforms & Equipment

• Basketballs are supplied, but players may bring their own if preferred.
• Uniforms (jersey + shorts) are included with registration and will be distributed before games begi
• All other divisions: 28.5” ball
• K–2: 27.5” ball
• Players should bring a water bottle and wear basketball sneakers suitable for indoor courts (no street shoes or cleats).

• Coaches will communicate through the GameChanger app once teams are formed.
• League updates, registration info, and general announcements will also come via SportsConnect emails and Facebook posts,.
